Yoga Soleil offers several a Foundation of Mindfulness 4 week course, a Mindfulness for Stress Reduction 8 week course and a Mindfulness for Health (Mindfulness Based Pain Management) 8 week course. If you would like to find out more about any of these, consider attending one of our orientation sessions before committing.
The Mindfulness Taster will explain what mindfulness is and how it can help you. You will be lead in two short meditation practices (the body scan and the 3 stage Breathing Space. You will also experience a mindful activity meditation.
By the end of the hour, you will have felt some of the benefits of mindfulness for yourself and will be able to make a truly informed choice about whether a course is right for you. There will be an opportunity to talk to the course leader at the end and ask any questions you might have.
Wear comfortable, loose clothing. There will be no need to get onto the floor and we will not be doing any exercise.
The session is an hour long and held at the locations and times below. Attendance is limited depending on the location of the session. Please call us to reserve a spot at 253-447-0295. There is no obligation to sign up for any course at the end of the taster session.
