This workshop focuses on preventative strategies, covering:
• Strength (bone and muscle)
• Stress Management
It includes the scientific background that explains how and why yoga works to foster healthy aging, so you’ll understand which techniques to use when. And we’ll review essential yoga poses, sequencing, and other practices that will set you up for a lifetime of practice. The practical asana work and the materials provided make it easy to incorporate your new understanding into every yoga practice and into other aspects of everyday living.
This intensive is designed for people who can stand and move unaided. We will not address using yoga as therapy for specific, individual medical conditions, although there will be some general background.
